The CIA Triad (Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability) represents the foundational principles in cybersecurity and is comprised of three components:
CONFIDENTIALITY - Relates to datra sensitivity and keeping this information private and secure.
INTEGRITY - Relates to the consistency, accuracy, and trustworthiness of data
AVAILABILITY - Relates to the ability for authorized parties to access information when needed.
Examples of confidentiality could be a citizens personal information, SIC numbers
