I think it would be cool if you could buy a computer in game and it could be used for example, getting jobs or for messaging people maybe even for getting a passive income through cripto or some thing like that.
If you wanted to take it up a notch you could do what Notch did for a game he was working on a while back, it was called 0x10c and it had a small virtual machine where people could customise it and run there own small programs.
